We will compete for gold in the Paralympics, but we can't do it without you...

Welcome to the Future of Bobsled, Skeleton and Luge

Known around the world as "The Champagne of Thrills", bobsled is a sport recognized for its fast-paced, high-energy competitions. Considering the sport has been around since the 1870's, it was only recently that a group of forward-thinking, adrenaline-seeking adaptive athletes and their coach grouped together to create the first ever adaptive/Paralympic bobsled team.

Welcome to the National Adaptive Sliding Sports Association.

Our athletes are fierce competitors that have overcome some of the toughest challenges that a human being can face in life. But rather than let the fires of adversity slow them down, these athletes have let the heat forge them into hardened warriors who have dedicated their lives to a single goal: winning the first ever Paralympic bobsled gold medal for their country.

We invite you to get to know our team, our coaches, our sponsors and follow our efforts as we work to change the world of bobsled by making our sport a Paralympic event.

NASSA in Deseret News and Meridian Magazine

Deseret News, Meridian Magazine and FM 100 interviewSALT LAKE CITY - National Adaptive Sliding Sport Association members recently appeared on FM 100.3's "The Cricket & Seagull" media show with host Steven Kapp Perry and in the "Mormon Times" section of the Deseret News. The article and interview also appeared on Meridian Magazine's website.

Known for his own musical talents, Mr. Perry was both excited and intrigued to have adaptive bobsled athletes Cody Reese (Director and Pilot within the NASSA organization) on the show alongside Athletic Director/Coach Jeremy Holm and NASSA brakeman and pilot Brandon Larson. Titled, "LDS Athletes Going Downhill...And That's a Good Thing", the interview lasted for nearly 30-minutes and covered a wide range of topics including living with a disability, how adaptive bobsled works, what the roles of each teammate is, what faith in God means to the athletes and what the future of adaptive bobsled is hoped to be.
